In this two-week unit, each CCF student prepares and shoots a short film of less than five minutes, enabling them to implement the dynamics they have studied over the preceding weeks. Visual storytelling is emphasized. The process of casting and working with actors will be experienced by each participant. As each student helms a project, their CCF peers will crew for them in support roles (cinematography, audio, etc.)
Students will be able to edit their films with the guidance of a professional editor during the Art of Editing class that follows this unit.
