The basic goal is to generate accurate and timely information that helps ensure the safety of the campus community and addresses the concerns of the community, as well as those of family members, supporters and the general public. That goal is the same whether we are dealing with an on-campus emergency situation or a non-emergency situation.

In the event of an emergency, it is the duty & responsibility of whomever discovers such to immediately call 911 and to safely remove/protect themselves and others from immediate peril. The next action should be to notify a member of COT. In the event of a faculty/staff/serious injury to a student or death, the on-site staff member should immediately contact a COT member.
