This week-long workshop will be an immersion into the techniques and skill-sets involved in the production and mixing of music tracks. Learn from an experienced producer the various steps in the mixing process, such as equalization, panning, processing, and using effects such as delay and reverb. We’ll discuss in depth how to mix tracks, oversee the production process, as well as navigate the business side of the industry. Students work with professional software to develop and hone technical and creative skills, and produce their own music. Musicians and non-Musicians alike are welcome in this course. 

Whether you aspire to be a producer or studio engineer, or you simply want to deepen your understanding of the music production process, this course will give you valuable insight into this exciting field, and provide solid first steps to start working in music production.
