Workshops
You know that story you have been meaning to write? It’s not gonna write itself. Seize the day and join us for this 5-day writing workshop.
There are no available registration dates at this time.
In this class, we will begin with customized prompts and exercises to get your story idea out of your head and onto the page.
As your story unfolds, you will receive personalized guidance throughout the week to produce new writing. And you will begin the process of vetting the viability and possibilities for your work.
Not everyone has a book in them but most people have one story they are driven to write. If you have been yearning to tell one particular story, this course is for you. You know, it’s the one that keeps you up at night, appears in your dreams, the one you have carried for many years.
Are you ready to bring it to the page? Then stand back, and let it heal, liberate and transform you? You will be supported with tools and techniques to get your idea and basic structure on paper, and receive guidance on how to flesh out your story.
Your colleagues will bear witness to your work through class sharing and feedback. See what you can accomplish in five days. You won’t leave empty handed. Both fiction and nonfiction work are accepted.
This workshop features a half hour 1-on-1 session with the instructor to review the work you have generated and receive suggestions on how to improve and expand it.
