This course is designed for intermediate to advanced photographers who want to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of architecture and interior photography. It is especially ideal for the many real estate photographers who wish to take their skills to the next level, gain a technical edge over their competitors, and move into commercial jobs. It is also appealing for architects and interior designers with basic knowledge of photography who wish to photograph their own work.
The purpose of this course is to:
- Learn basic and advanced rules of architectural composition.
- Learn how to plan the shoot to maximize the best possible light.
- Learn how to use and modify supplemental lighting to benefit the composition.
- Learn all the post-production techniques necessary to tackle any commercial job.
- Learn how to budget for a shoot properly.
At the end of this workshop, students will feel confident determining the best photography composition in any space and have the tools to light it in the best possible way.
Course Requirements
Students should bring their laptops with editing software that they are comfortable with, a wide-angle or tilt-shift lens, and a tethering cable to connect their camera to their laptop as needed.

Instructor: Antonio Cuellar
Antonio Cuellar is a commercial photographer with over 20 years of experience. Most of his clients come from the hospitality and travel industry, but he has worked with brands such as Cartier, Crate & Barrel, and Estee Lauder. He has also shot worldwide campaigns for major brands. Most recently, the Qatar Airways campaign for the Worldcup in Doha. Antonio is the go-to photographer for many luxury hotels and resorts and enjoys covering all aspects of hospitality. His clients rave about his artistic versatility and ability to excel in different styles like Architecture & Interiors, Lifestyle and Food & Beverage. Antonio has also ventured into video production. He is a licensed drone operator and now includes videos with most of his productions.
Antonio has collaborated with countless creative directors and brand marketers worldwide to bring their visions to life, whether following a marketing brief or working on innovative concepts with the client.
Antonio is well known for his technical photographic skills, so he is often invited as a panellist for several photography equipment manufacturers. And due to his extensive travel and knowledge of the industry, he is a guest judge for LTG alongside Travel Channel Tv host Anthony Melchiorri from Hotel impossible and Shane Green, host of the TV show Resort Rescue.
