NOTE: This Course will be held in a live, Online Format using the Zoom Platform.
The class meets Tuesday & Thursday for Four Half Days 9am-12pm ET.
Students will need to have Adobe InDesign installed on their home computers.

Are you an InDesign user that knows enough to get by but would like to learn components of the program that are unfamiliar to you?

This is an opportunity for a self-designed workshop that will cover topics of your choice. Perhaps you are comfortable using master pages and styles in InDesign, but would like to learn more about generating a table of contents, creating an index, working with spreadsheets, or integrating other programs like Photoshop and Illustrator into your workflow.

For those who are unsure of what content they need, we’ll have you covered. Potential topics range from Data Merge features, to utilizing InCopy to collaborate with editors, or working with scripts and plugins; there can be something for everyone in this workshop!

Through demos and hands-on work, students will cover a range of topics and have the opportunity to share projects that are in-process. The instructor will reach out the week prior to the course to assess what topics are to be covered, and plan the two weeks accordingly. Former InDesign experience is required as this course does not cover introductory material, but there will also be the opportunity for reviewing fundamentals as needed. Some working knowledge of other Adobe programs would be very helpful, but is not necessary. Virtual courses are conducted via Zoom and are best experienced with a reliable broadband connection, and the ability to configure your workspace to follow a Zoom session, while using other programs at the same time. This course consists of 4, three-hour sessions.
