Brenton Hamilton is a working artist and beloved instructor, whose teaching specialties include, B&W Craft, Historic Processes, and the History of Photography. His own work is inspired by the 19th century and has become a principal area of research and inspiration both as a historian and a printmaker. Devoted to the cyanotype, Brenton’s embellished images are exhibited nationally and are held in the permanent collections at the Portland Museum of Art, Portland, Maine and the Farnsworth Museum in Rockland, Maine.
