Creating a business so you can be creative.

There are no available registration dates at this time.

Turning Pro is more than knowing how to use your camera and getting paid. It is about creating a positive powerful mindset which allows for creativity and the agility to adapt to the ever evolving image environment.  Who you are as a person first then a photographer will define your potential career and the journey as a visual storyteller. If you want to create a personal photographic life and or enter the business of photography this workshop will provide a foundation to build upon.

We go into the inner working of a freelance photographer.  Ken will share from his own work the entire process from receiving an assignment request, negotiating the rate, defining the clients needs, photographing, editing, post production and delivery of images. He will also be sharing the complete range of his business from the successes to challenging moments. Throughout the week we will cover creating business relationships, equipment, lighting, and problem solving. All of this will be applied through daily shooting assignments.

There is a magic source of success and it is you. Magic is not easy and some would rather be in the audience then on stage. If you want to explore the stage then please join me.

You will need, desire, the willingness take on a challenge, a sense of humor, and the ability to play well with others.  In addition a digital camera, your portfolio ( do not stress this is not a test) and Laptop for editing.
