Didn’t get the perfect image? Just fix it in Post! Bring your creative ideas to life with Adobe Photoshop, the professional digital imaging standard, used by photographers and designers who want to perfect their digital images. Photoshop allows you to create powerful images, composites and designs. This introduction workshop is designed to teach the core foundation of Adobe Photoshop in just two days. The focus will be on step-by-step instruction leading students through the most important tools and options in Photoshop while learning non-destructive editing practices to maintain the integrity of your pixels.
Topics that will be covered in this workshop are:
- File formats
- Photography Tools
- Selection and Masking
- Adjustment Layers
This workshop is held in one of our digital classrooms’ outfitted with Macintosh computers. No experience is necessary but basic computer skills in the McIntosh platform are required.
Lunch each day is included. Lodging is available on campus $75/night, private room & bath.

Instructor: Craig Becker
Craig's award-winning work has been widely exhibited in galleries and museums across US and published in numerous books and maga- zines. Portfolios of his work have been published in Musee’ Magazine, F-Stop Magazine, BETA 19, Lenscratch and was one of Feature Shoot’s Emerging Photographers for 2017. In 2018, his work was featured in a solo exhibition at the Griffin Museum of Photography and a two-person exhibition with Joyce Tenneson. Currently, he is the Gallery Manager at Elizabeth Moss Galleries in Falmouth, Maine.
