Acclaimed Director of Photography, Amy Vincent, ASC (HUSTLE & FLOW, BLACK SNAKE MOAN) discusses her experiences as a DP, her vision and her approach to visual storytelling.

With a 30 year career as a cinematographer, Amy Vincent is a leader and a pioneer among women in cinematography. Amy Vincent was recipient of the Women in Film Kodak Vision Award in 2001. She was invited to join the American Society of Cinematographers in 2002. Ms. Vincent received an invitation to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2004. A year later, her work on ‘Hustle and Flow’ won the Sundance Film Festival award for cinematography.
