AVID Pro Tools is groundbreaking software for audio engineers and sound designers. This platform continues to evolve each year and expand its robust capabilities, making it an industry standard for Audio Post Production. This intensive crash-course introduces you to the fundamental principles and concepts of Pro Tools, and brings you the essential skills and knowledge needed to bring a project from initial set-up to final mix-down.

Lectures and demos work in conjunction with hands-on exercises where students practice working with audio media in Pro Tools, become familiar with its tools and interface, introduce essential techniques for creating sessions, recording and importing audio and MIDI, editing session media, navigating sessions and arranging media on tracks, and using basic processing and mixing techniques to finalize a production, all of this presented in an on-line format by a certified ACI Avid instructor.

Students leave the course with the skills and knowledge needed to start working with this powerful software.

Please note that students will need to have AVID Pro Tools software on their computers. A free 30 Day Trial of the software is available here.
