Class meets 10am-4pm EDT

This is a one day intensive in all the procedures, recipes and chemical handling for all of the components in collodion work.

You will experience a thorough lecture about types of formulas for all forms in ambrotype, tin and glass. There will be handling and mixing demonstrations and lots of time for Q&A. Each student will receive a set of PDF’s illustrating the commentary of the day and recipes. Chemical safety and use will be detailed and emphasized. Demonstrations and troubleshooting for the collodion- practitioner – how to set up your darkroom, ample time for dynamic Q&A.  If you have a darkroom at home you can work along with Brenton during the virtual demonstration. You may also choose to absorb the demonstration for use later on.

NOTE: Students who wish to practice these techniques at home during the virtual instruction should expect to make an additional purchase of Lab Materials (list provided by Brenton) for $175.
