This 1-day class is ideal for anyone interested in working with the dynamic and capable GoPro Hero to capture high quality video.

Since its introduction the GoPro camera has grown rapidly in popularity. While maintaining its prowess as the quintessential camera for action and adventure sports, it has also been widely adopted by commercial and narrative filmmakers who have seen its tremendous value as a tool to always have with you. Over the years, with each new iteration, it has also grown in its capability to capture amazing video from many a unique perspective. In this workshop we will cover all of the basic functionality of this powerful tool. There will be lessons on setting up your GoPro for various shooting environments and to capture various looks. We will practice methods for creating cinematic visuals using this camera’s incredible versatility. We will take time to discuss various peripherals on the market, and the instructor will make suggestions for anyone who is looking to make a gear purchase. Students will leave the workshop equipped with the fundamental skills to work proficiently with this amazingly accessible and powerful camera.

For the Online iteration of this course, Students must have their own GoPro camera at home.
