In this information-packed course, drone pilots are given the tools and information they need to be confident in launching, flying, and landing safely a UAV.

Once we’ve covered the fundamentals, the focus will be on learning techniques to shoot professional-quality aerial cinematography working with the images you capture. The instructor will assist students in creating a workflow to take your footage from the drone, into post-production, and finalize it to produce high-quality cinematic results.

Instructor: Sebastiano Caccetta

After pursuing a bachelor in Cinema studies at the University of Roma Tor Vergata, Sebastiano moved to the United States in order to enrich his education. He first attended Maine Media College for an intensive hands on course in Filmmaking and eventually moved to Los Angeles, where he enrolled in an MFA program in Film and Media Production at the New York Film Academy. Sebastiano is an experienced filmmaker able to work on a large variety of projects. His skills include proficiency with different cinema cameras and filming techniques, recording audio, lighting, and has extensive knowledge of the industry standard post production softwares and the best use and practice for each of them.
