Adobe After Effects continues to be the industry standard for creating motion graphics. This course is designed for the beginner who wishes to gain an introduction and foundation in this powerful tool. Following an overview of animation principles and a walkthrough of the program’s layout and functionality, the class explores the essential tools of After Effects including layers and keyframing.

After we’ve covered the basics, students will have the opportunity to create their own animations with guidance from the instructor. Students leave with an understanding of After Effects basics, and an appreciation for the amazing possibilities in creating motion graphics.
