This class will be held in an online format using the Zoom platform.
Open to all students at Middle School/Junior High level. 

In this course – you will use your Iphone or DSLR camera and make images: in your yard, or home, in your environment, the landscape around your living area or neighborhood. Looking with new eyes and understanding photography in a new way.  You will receive assignments and we’ll all work and talk together online for dynamic critiques, exploration and sharing our work. You will send your images to the instructor each night for the online rap sessions the next day. Discussions, assignments, searches, image treasure hunts.

Class meets 10am -1:30 pm EDT

While most of our “Young Artist” Courses are for students in high school, this particular class is designed for middle school students, Grades 6-8.

Instructor: Brenton Hamilton

Brenton holds his MFA in photography from the Savannah College of Art & Design. His teaching specialties include, B&W Craft,  Historic Processes, and the History of Photography. Brenton is an enthusiastic workshop leader exhibiting special care and interest in the teaching process and experience for his students.
