Pocket Accordion & Folio - Online

This daylong workshop will enable you to create a unique accordion structure to showcase and then build a folio enclosure to protect your work.

Joelle will send you a precut kit and then lead you step by step through the production process so you can then make more on your own for additional bodies of work.

In the morning, you will create a Pocket Accordion Book. For those who want to display their photographs in book form, this accordion book is designed to add a collection of images to framed pocket pages. We will create, then discuss different ways to organize your content in the book. The accordion is a great book structure to have images stand vertically in a sculptural form.

After an hour lunch break in the afternoon, you will build a Folio Enclosure to use to house and protect your accordion or other work such as loose-leaf photographs or single-page collages. This structure can be used to protect a collection of images, work as a storage folder, or dress-up presentations.
