In this intensive shoot to edit workshop, award-winning photographer Alan Winslow will help you to hone techniques and strategies for making a body of work that captures the essence of a destination. This workshop will guide you in using your camera to experience a place through landscape, nature, street, and portrait photography. We’ll dive into advanced camera control and composition techniques to make thought-provoking and unique images. Back in the studio, we’ll take our images through the editing and sequencing process. By the end, participants will have created, edited, and sequenced a travel story that will be reviewed on the final day of class.

Monday – class will meet at 9 am EDT for a few hours, students will spend the rest of the day shooting while Alan will be available for 1:1 mtgs. The class will meet back up at 4 pm for Critique.

Tuesday – class will meet at 9 am EDT for a few hours, students will spend the afternoon shooting while Alan will be available for 1:1 mtgs. The class will meet back up at 4 pm for Critique.

Wednesday – class will meet at 9 am EDT for a few hours, students will spend the rest of the time shooting and Alan will be available for 1:1 mtgs. The class will meet back up at 4 pm for Critique.

Thursday – class will meet at 9 am EDT for a few hours, students will spend the rest of the day shooting and Alan will be available for 1:1 mtgs. The class will meet back up at 4 pm for Critique.

Friday – class will meet at 9 am EDT for a few hours, students will spend the rest of the day shooting while Alan will be available for 1:1 mtgs. The class will meet back up at 4 pm for Critique.
