Break into this enormous market

There are no available registration dates at this time.

NOTE: This class will held in a live, online format using the Zoom Platform.
3 sessions: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, Oct. 20-21-22, 4:30pm-9:30pm EDT

The market for voiceover is huge, and just continues to expand. It’s a field in which both union and non-union talent can find and win lucrative jobs. But what makes for a successful commercial read? How do we capture the listener?

In this course, we’ll explore how to create compelling reads, no matter the material. We’ll learn how to break down commercial copy so we can deliver a voiceover that powerfully and emotionally speaks to the target audience.

Students will learn how to give, receive and process in-the-moment direction, and how to identify and use the cues provided in the script to create their own particular successful read.

The field is changing rapidly and it has never been easier for beginning voiceover artists to break in, and for experienced voiceover artists to take more direct control over their careers and expand into new areas of the voiceover market.

Daily class schedule:

4:30-6:00 pm: Introduction to day’s session and scripts.

6:00pm-7:30pm – Independent work time and meal break. Instructor will be available for questions in private chat.

7:30pm-9:30pm – Sharing of work, feedback, discussion.
