It is a time participants sharpen their technical skills and expand their abilities to see and make photographs in new and personal ways.
Alison works with students in the field as well as in the classroom exploring:
- Acquiring technical skill
- Developing a personal style
- Practices to work more effectively in color
- Abstract imagery
- Improving compositions
- Digital workflow
- How to present fine art photos
Critiques are held every morning and students embark on field trips each afternoon. Alison offers guidance and support with both technical and aesthetic issues relevant to the photographer. This is a terrific opportunity for students to work with a highly regarded professional while improving their technique, developing their personal style of landscape photography, and acquiring a valuable set of tools for professional development. Students will meet Saturday morning with the instructor for one-on-ones.
Students are required to work digitally and a laptop is required for image processing and editing.
