Collagraph: Cut, score, glue, ink and print

In this course, students will explore the process of collagraphy, an experimental approach to building a plate through a process that incorporates both additive and subtractive techniques.
Students will get an introduction to the materials, techniques, and paper preparation. The instructor will demonstrate the inking and printing of the plate, and students will then print their own editions.
If time allows, Hadieh will introduce students to her coil paper techniques where paper is rolled and used as sculpture.
