Class meets 10am-4pm EST

This is a lecture and demonstration in all the methods, tools and formulas for the exquisite platinum and palladium process. Brenton will share information about all the chemistry, formulas and setup for making prints with these beautiful materials. Demonstrations plus troubleshooting for the printer – how to set up your darkroom, and ample time for dynamic Q&A. If you have a darkroom at home you can work along with Brenton, or you can choose to absorb the lessons for use later on.

NOTE: Students who wish to practice these techniques at home during the virtual instruction should expect to make an additional purchase of Lab Materials (list provided by Brenton) for $250.

Brenton holds his MFA in photography from the Savannah College of Art & Design. He is the Chair of the Professional Certificate in Visual Storytelling program at Maine Media College. His teaching specialties include, B&W Craft,  Historic Processes, and the History of Photography at MMC. Brenton is an enthusiastic workshop leader exhibiting special care and interest in the teaching process and for his students.
