W.M. Hunt is a photography collector, curator and consultant who lives and works in New York. Hunt has been looking at and talking about photography for over 40 years. He is the author of “The Unseen Eye: Photographs from the Unconscious” and “Hunt’s Three Ring Circus”, “Huddled Masses”, and “Troop/Troupe” as well as the essays for many artist monographs. He was founding partner of the gallery Hasted Hunt; he teaches at the School of Visual Arts, Aperture, and ICP; and he has served on the boards of Photographers + Friends United Against AIDS, AIPAD, The Center for Photography at Woodstock and the W.
