Sally Pasley Vargas has had a long career as both writer and photographer, working closely with the Boston Globe’s food pages and the website She is a writer, stylist, photographer and the author of The Cranberry Cookbook, Food for Friends, and The Tao of Cooking. Currently she is working on The Blueberry Cookbook for Down East Press for 2019 publication. She launched her culinary career as a line cook at a restaurant near Woodstock, NY and studied pastry at the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park NY.
