Rachel E. Church is an intermedial artist, book artist, and printmaker working in Maine. She has a BA in Art with a concentration in Printmaking and Entrepreneurial Studies, a BFA in Studio Art with a minor in Book Arts, both from the University of Southern Maine and an MFA in Intermedia from the University of Maine. She is currently pursuing an Interdisciplinary PhD at the University of Maine investigating the intersection of cookbooks as historical documentation of issues of domesticity and gender, and cookbooks as art objects. She also teaches printmaking and bookmaking workshops. Rachel was co-awarded the Maine Media 2022 Book Artist in Residence.
When not in the studio, she enjoys traveling, cooking, camping, hiking, and sewing.
