Matthew Myers has produced over 30 feature films and TV movies for independent production companies, major studios and networks, including 20th Century Fox, Showtime, HBO, Netflix, Amazon, Sony, Lionsgate, IFC Films, Sundance Channel, and Universal.  His films have won major awards and international honors at the Cannes, Toronto, Berlin and Sundance film festivals.  

He has worked with stars and directors like Greta Gerwig, Hal Hartley, Gus van Sant, Kristen Stewart and Bill Pullman; and Academy Award-winning talent including Ed Harris, Jennifer Connelly, Kenneth Lonergan, Dustin Lance Black, Helen Hunt, Colin Firth, Harvey Keitel, Glenn Close, Kathy Bates and Bette Midler.  His recent films include Irreplaceable You (Netflix) starring Christopher Walken, Kate McKinnon, and Steve Coogan; and Ned Rifle (Cinedigm), directed by Hal Hartley and starring Aubrey Plaza.  As a producer or production consultant, his other films include Manchester By The Sea, Lola Versus, Catch Hell, The Great Gilly Hopkins, Speak, and Griffin & Phoenix.

He has developed original projects with George A. Romero, Joan Didion, Alan Rudolph, Jeffrey Deaver, Adam Rifkin, Peter Schaffer, Sidney Lumet, Pink Floyd, and the Raymond Chandler estate.  He has also produced music videos for artists such as Yo La Tengo, Everything But The Girl, Beth Orton, and R. Kelly.

Matt has taught producing, film financing, distribution, and production management classes while serving as Chair of the Graduate Film Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts-Asia in Singapore.  He has delivered lectures, seminars and workshops around the globe.  He is a member of the Director’s Guild of America, the Producer’s Guild of America, and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
