An Oscar-nominated film editor, Mark Goldblatt has edited over 40 motion pictures, including such films as“TheTerminator”, “Pearl Harbor”, “X-Men: The Last Stand”, “Armageddon”, “Chappie”, “Predator 2”, “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters”, “Starship Troopers”, “Bad Company”, “The Last Boy Scout”, and “Rise of The Planet of The Apes.” He was nominated for an Academy Award (with Conrad Buff and Richard Harris) for his work on “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”, and twice nominated for an ACE Eddie Award for “T-2” and “True Lies”. He is also the recipient of The 2018 ACE Career Achievement Award.

He has worked with directors like James Cameron, Neill Blomkamp, Michael Bay, Penny Marshall, Lee Tamahori, Tony Scott, Brett Ratner, Eli Roth, and Paul Verhoeven. His work straddles many genres: drama, action, comedy, fantasy, sci-fi, and thrillers. A life-long film buff, he is passionate about film history.

A graduate of The University of Wisconsin and The London Film School, he is a past President and former board member of the American Cinema Editors (ACE) in which he remains a member. He has also served on the Board of Directors of The Motion Picture Editors Guild and is beginning his 11th year on the Board of Governors of The Academy of Motion PIcture Arts and Sciences.
