Marjorie is the author and photographer of two books, Markets of Paris: Food, Antiques, Crafts, and More (Little Bookroom, 2012) and Markets of Provence (St. Martin’s Press, 2016). Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Edible, Afar, and GoNOMAD, among other online and print outlets. She is a frequent guest on NPR’s Travel with Rick Steves and an expert in The New York Times Journeys program. Marjorie is passionate about food and flea markets and believes that exploring markets is one of the most rewarding ways to immerse oneself in local culture. She blogs about markets, food, and travel. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Lesley University and a BA from the University of Chicago.
