Letterpress handset types

This class is about letterpress minutiae on the Vandercook proof press. It’ll begin by examining the condition and operation of the presses because maintenance is make-ready. Then we’ll explore the print shop’s treasure of types, ornaments, inks, and papers. We’ll discuss your ideas and their feasibility, using traditional composition methods.
