Understanding the editor’s job of combining images, words, and audio into a cohesive and engaging body of work is essential for all filmmakers. Adobe’s Premiere has become the preferred software choice for many professional editors.

Topics include: understanding the interface, importing and managing media, building and fine tuning the rough cut, working with sound, working with graphics, the basics of color correction, and exporting and sharing your projects.

This course is designed for students with little to no editing experience. We will start with the basics and build from there. It is also good for self-taught editors who would like to break their bad habits.

In addition to being offered on an individual basis, this workshop is also Week Two of the 8 Week Editing and Post Production Intensive.
