This weekend workshop celebrates books made from single sheets of paper. You will learn to fold a variety of book structures, ranging from simple to complex in nature. These versatile and fun structures are ideal for photographers and printmakers interested in presenting their work a in new and fresh way. Creative enclosures, also folded from single sheets of paper, will be made to house all book models. All skill levels welcome in this workshop.

Lunch each day is included. Lodging is available on campus $75/night, private room & bath..

Instructor: Valerie Carrigan

Valerie Carrigan explores the intersection of the natural world and the human spirit through monotype, relief and letterpress printing. She works works out of her studio in a historic mill in North Adams, Massachusetts. In 2015, she was a Book Artist in Residence at Maine Media Workshops + College where she produced a limited edition artist book titled The Walk.
