Come along for a week of travel around the central coast of Maine and surrounding area as we photographically explore the landscape and how it describes and defines a way of life.  We will use the Maine landscape as a base to build on, incorporating environmental portraits, architecture, interiors and exteriors to create a sense of place.  The week together will also include discussions on important figures in contemporary and historic photography, the tools they employ to present their message, and strategies to consider in reaching your own audience.  We will work together to create and edit a personal series of photographs that describe your experience in this unique landscape and lend to a sense of place.

Daily Activities:

We will travel together throughout the central coast of Maine landscape and towns to photograph and discuss techniques for photographing a variety of subjects.  In addition, we will spend some time in the studio on constructive critique, editing, and post-production methods.
