Patrick Cady (ASC, DGA) is an Emmy-nominated cinematographer who has also become a busy director. Most recently he directed half of the episodes for season seven of Amazon’s hit show Bosch, including the series finale. Patrick joined us on campus for our first week of summer workshops to teach Framing the Narrative, a paramount cinematography workshop here at Maine Media.
Patrick sat down to talk with Maine Media about the role of a cinematographer on set, the joys and challenges of teaching cinematography, and what it means to embark upon a cinematography career.
