Maine Media Gallery showcases photographic and multi-media work of students, alumni, and faculty, as well as innovative media artists pertinent to our community. The gallery offers an outstanding collection of donated faculty work for sale, with proceeds benefiting Maine Media’s scholarship fund. Additionally, the Maine Media Gallery houses Tim Whelan’s bookstore, a nationally recognized bookstore for its impressive collection of fine art photography books.

The gallery is located in Rockport Village, a short walk from the Maine Media Workshops + College campus.

Our current exhibition, Found, features work by alumni of Maine Media College's MFA in Media Arts. The artists included are: Andrea Birnbaum, Matt Smolinsky, Carol Eisenberg, Anna LaBenz, Megan Magill, Travis Lovell, Sal Taylor Kydd, and DM Witman.


Apply to be in the 2018 YO Show--a showcase of work by alumni of our Young Artist Program. Any former student under 18 y/o can submit up to 5 images and/or 2 short videos for consideration. Our resident photo faculty Brenton Hamilton will juror and the exhibit will be up in our Rockport Gallery from mid-June to mid-July. This is a great opportunity to sell your work and be a part of a group exhibition!
