Zachary Levy's debut documentary feature STRONGMAN won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at Slamdance in 2009 and garnered rave reviews at the top film festivals on the circuit.  Faced with the same difficult distribution landscape as so many filmmakers these days, Zach quickly found himself becoming an expert on the nuts and bolts of self-distribution and fashioned release and publicity plans for the film which will get it seen in over 50 markets theatrically.

In addition to his business and filmmaking experience, Zach also brings to our class years of hands-on experience in the non-fiction world, having worked as a D.P. on everything from 60 Minutes and Oprah to independent PBS docs. He has written for Filmmaker Magazine and taught documentary technique and film business workshops all across the country.
