Working under the supervision of the Director of Marketing, this intern will help document Maine Media, contribute to social media posts, graphic design and other assignments that help tell the story of Maine Media’s summer programs . This position is extremely flexible, fun, and full of real work. The Marketing Intern will work with a creative team.

Qualifications and Criteria
  • A solid writer
  • Good communicator
  • Some knowledge of InDesign, WordPress and social media are preferred.
What will be learned

This internship provides the opportunity to learn from experienced marketing professionals as well as other aspects of non-profit management.

The Intern Experience

Each intern is assigned to a specific area where they will learn and assist instructors, fellow staff members and/or students with various projects. Each intern is responsible for managing their time wisely, while we do have work to do, we strongly encourage you to take the time to make images/films and enjoy in the Maine landscape. Interns are allowed access to our facilities when not in use by a class; this can be discussed with your supervisor. Round table portfolio sharing events will be offered to the interns and TA’s weekly. This will include a rotation of upper level staff and faculty.
