Sandra Adair is the Oscar-nominated editor of Boyhood and many other feature films and documentaries.  She has edited all of director Richard Linklater’s films since 1993. In addition to Boyhood (for which she was nominated for an Academy Award, and received the American Cinema Editors Eddie award), her credits include The School of Rock, Dazed and Confused, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Before Midnight, Last Flag Flying, Tumbledown, A Single Frame, Waking Life, Bernie, Everything Must Go, Fast Food Nation, Me and Orson Welles, A Scanner Darkly, The Newton Boys, SubUrbia, Texas Chain Saw Massacre: The Next Generation, and Bad News Bears.  She is currently editing Richard Linklater’s Apollo 10 1/2.

In addition to her editing credits, she was a co-producer on Boyhood and an associate producer on the documentaries Shepard & Dark, and Inning by Inning: A Portrait of a Coach. She directed, edited and produced the 2017 feature-length documentary The Secret Life of Lance Letscher.

She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and American Cinema Editors (A.C.E.).
