Jennifer Schelter Profile PictureJennifer Schelter is an actress, playwright, memoirist, painter, meditation and yoga teacher who adores offering safe space to affirm creative living and writing. Students experience ease in showing truth on the page; shadow and light as Beauty. 

Jennifer has written and performed several one-woman shows, including Love Lessons from Abu Ghraib performed at the Philly Fringe Festival and InterAct Theatre to sold-out audiences. She shared the Tony Award at the Denver Center Theater Company. 

She writes newsletters about daily rituals for inspiration, ease and creative living. Her short stories have been published in the Wild River Review and The Schuylkill Valley Journal. An author of flash-memoir, her work has been featured in Our Bodies, Our Selves exhibition at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and Unspoken at Instruments of Memory. 

With over 25 years of professional experience as a leader, she has been named “Best of Philly” multiple times. As co-founder of Reach and Raise fundraiser – her vision and offerings helped raise over 5 million dollars for Living Beyond Breast Cancer Organization. She is a regular contributor to stress reduction and mindful practices for business leaders. 

Her cross-pollination and study of meditation, memoir writing, storytelling, drawing, painting, and yoga offers a rich, somatic, layered approach to writing memoir and flash nonfiction. 

Jennifer is a graduate of the University of San Diego, Old Globe Theater (MFA), and a visual arts degree from The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She advises and works with private clients and group classes; as well as “Natural Reboot” TV show, University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Leadership and Management Programs, Kripalu Center, and her signature Radiant Retreat to Mexico. 

A world traveler to over 18 countries, Jennifer loves her home outside of Philadelphia, her two cats, garden and cherished community. She is currently writing on self-acceptance, loss, living a creative life, and family.
