Faith Adiele is author of two memoirs, Meeting Faith: The Thai Forest Journals of a Black Buddhist Nun, which won the PEN Open Book Award and routinely appears on travel listicles, and the mini ebook/audiobook The Nigerian Nordic Girl’s Guide to Lady Problems. Her media credits include the HBO-Max limited series A World of Calm; My Journey Home, a PBS documentary about finding her family; and Sleep Stories for the Calm App. She writes art reviews for Hyperallergic and her essays appear in O Magazine, Yes!, The Rumpus, Essence, The Offing, and numerous journals and anthologies. Named one of Marie Claire Magazine’s “5 Women to Learn From,” Faith teaches and speaks around the globe, including California College of the Arts, Stonecoast MFA Program, VONA, Esalen and Open Center-New York. She is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, Iowa Nonfiction Writing Program, and Harvard University.
