As You See It: Finding Your Creative Voice
There are few lovelier places to practice the art of landscape photography than coastal Maine in June. In this workshop students gain understanding of how black and white or color photographs can speak from the heart as well as the mind, expanding the students’ abilities to make strong, clear and elegant photographs in tune with the emotions that inspired them.
Through instruction, discussion, and evaluation of work in progress, students develop an awareness of their unique visual voice and of the artistic and technical decisions that lead to successful images.
The seacoast and woodlands will serve as a natural laboratory to put instruction and inspiration to the test.
Students edit each days results and this selection is discussed in a supportive exchange of ideas and observations with the goal of turning several digital files into digital prints with guidance from a member of Moab fine art printing paper’s expert digital printing team. Printing paper needs will be supplied by Moab, a sponsor of this workshop.
