Doing it in the dark takes practice. Make the time to refine your darkroom practice.

In this week we will explore, examine, and refine our darkroom practice. We will experiment with various toners, papers, and developers to help the darkroom practitioner realize their creative vision. Specialized techniques in the printing process will be covered, as well as contemporary presentation methods. We will consider concept, content, and aesthetics, as well as practical matters of working in the contemporary black and white darkroom.

While a major part of the week will be spent in the darkroom, we will make time to enjoy the summer beauty of the Maine coast. Bring film!
