As Director of Policy and Programs at the Maine Arts Commission, Donna McNeil is responsible for overseeing the cultural well being of the State of Maine through support for artists and arts organizations via advocacy, grants, and professional development.
During this one-day intensive workshop, let Ms. McNeil guide you through the world of effective grant writing while introducing you to personal strategic planning methods: From BHAGS (big hairy audacious goals) to 30 year plans, Ms. McNeil will share her wealth of knowledge for recognizing and advising effective grant writing, conducting grant research, designing electronic portfolios, writing introductory letters, honing artists statements and narratives while working within your budget.
Lunch is included, other meals are on your own. Lodging is available on campus, private room & bath. $75/night
