In this hands-on workshop, Tim Grey will help you master the use of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom to manage, optimize, and share your digital photos. You’ll go beyond the theory of workflow and software, focusing on real-world issues faced by photographers. You’ll gain a strong understanding of how Lightroom is organized, and how to best configure Lightroom and your image catalog based on your specific workflow needs. Then, we’ll delve into the various features available for keeping your photos organized, from the import process through identifying favorite images and applying updates to metadata. Next, we’ll focus on using Lightroom to optimize your images, including the use of Photoshop and third-party plug-ins to really make the most of your images. Then we’ll take some of our favorite images and share them in a variety of ways, including posting photos to online sharing services, creating slideshows, printing, and much more.
At the end of the informative and enjoyable week, you’ll have a high degree of confidence in your ability to use Lightroom in a way that is best suited to your specific needs. You’ll also be able to get your questions answered along the way, and you’ll also have fun in the great environment provided by Maine Media Workshops.
