Going on a vacation? Traveling to a new and exotic locale?

In this intensive shoot to print workshop, award winning photographer Alan Winslow will help you to hone techniques and strategies for making a body of work that captures the essence of a destination. This workshop will guide you in using your camera to experience a place through landscape, nature, street and portrait photography. We'll dive into advanced camera control and composition techniques to make thought provoking and unique images. Back in the studio we'll take our images through the editing process all the way to print. Students will have the opportunity to experiment on various printing surfaces to match the best paper for their particular style. By the end, participants will have created, edited and printed a travel story that will be reviewed on the final day of class.
