Adobe Lightroom 4 is the essential software of choice for digital photographers. This unique hands-on application experience is an intensive one-day workshop focused on Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4. Participants learn to download, organize, manage, develop, and present digital photography using our digital labs with Macintosh computers. Led by Jason Esposito, one of our Lightroom experts, this workshop ensures a smooth transition to the digital photography workflow.
We begin with an introductory overview of Adobe Lightroom 4, which describes the database components, catalog files, previews files, the metadata structure, and the steps for setting up application preferences specific to your personal digital photography workflow requirements.
Topics include digital camera setup, choosing appropriate file formats for image capture, efficiently downloading images from camera or hard drive, sorting, rating, editing, global tone and color correction, and exporting images using Adobe Lightroom 4 from start to finish.
Students should supply a broad assortment of images to work on, and an external hard drive is required to take your new organized files home.
