In a time when it seems as though everything imaginable is going digital, hop on and enjoy the ride from film to digital print. This workshop is designed to help traditional film photographers make the transition from wet to digital capture and printmaking.

The class covers all facets of digital workflow, including the essentials of good scanning, digital SLR cameras and functions, Lightroom techniques for image refinement, and options for digital output.

Students learn to work with issues of density, contrast and tonal range, and local refinements such as burning, dodging, bleaching, edge burning, and spotting as they are executed in the digital darkroom.
