Workshops faculty Robert Farber, and his team at Photoworkshop.com have launched a 2009 photography event: The PHOTOWORKSHOP.COM Photography and Digital Imaging Competition
With over $17,000 in prizes, including a scholarship sponsored by Maine Media Workshops, the contest gives entrants, world-wide, the opportunity to submit 
images in two categories:
• Straight Photography/Lightly Manipulated, judged by Dr. Anthony Bannon, Director, George Eastman House,
• Photo Illustration/Manipulated, judged by renowned photographer John Paul Caponigro.
Selected images from each category will appear on the covers and inside pages of Rangefinder and After Capture magazines. The deadline for entries is May 1, 2009. Please visit the contest website for complete rules and sponsored prize information.
