Multimedia, in addition to being a powerful form of storytelling, allows content gatherers to become more marketable in these changing times. Introduction to Multimedia introduces students to the power of combining documentary photography with compelling audio.
During the week students create and collect documentary photos and record audio for multimedia slideshows. Students learn the basics of audio collection, the gear associated with it, as well as the basics of combining audio with photographs in the production software Soundslides.
Students should have a good understanding of DSLR cameras before attending this workshop.
