Now with the burgeoning needs of multimedia, the ability to capture and create audio stories is necessary in a diversity of new outlets. Through hands-on demonstrations, lectures and assignments, students learn how to work with the gear necessary to develop and produce audio stories.
Going into the local community, students engage community members and institutions as a means to learn and use sound as a descriptive and powerful documentary medium. Students learn audio editing and mixing on the industry's standard software - ProTools. No previous knowledge of digital editing is necessary.
