Propel yourself into a new level of storytelling and never get lost in a project again. Take this upbeat workshop that combines field production, lectures and critiques designed to help students zero in on the most important element of a project—the story. In this advanced course for photographic and multimedia storytellers, Strong guides students through his unique method of story development and project management as each student tackles a production from idea to completion over the course of the week. Students also work on skills such as pitching projects, interviewing, lighting, editing and other critical video, photo and audio techniques.
Students should have a strong understanding of digital photography, and those interested in producing a multimedia piece also should have a good grasp of both digital audio collection and video and be comfortable working and producing in Final Cut Pro.
